1. Booking, payment of deposit:
Bookings can be made by mail, fax, e-mail, or in person in our guesthouse. After having booked in writing, we will send a confirmation about the chosen accommodation and the other services. After getting the confirmation, guests must pay a deposit which is possible by transfer or in person at our bureau. The degree of the deposit is 30% of the total price, or, in the case of only 1-3 nights, the total price. If the deposit does not arrive in three bank workdays after the date of the confirmation, we shall cancel your travel arrangements.
2. If you cancel your booking:
The cancellation of the booked accommodation must be made in writing. For cancellations, the following penalties apply:
- 30 days or more prior to departure: 15% of the total price.
- 29-14 days prior to departure: 40% of the total price.
- 1-14 days prior to departure: 80% of the total price.
3. If you change your booking:
If you want to alter your booking because of a change in the number of guests or the date of the holiday, after consulting the agency, it is possible. You have to send us the changes in writing, after which we will send another confirmation with the new datas and prices.
4. If Csátó Guesthouse cancels or changes your booking:
Csátó Guesthouse reserves the right in any circumstances to alter your travel arrangements. Unforeseeable technical problems or difficulties may occur, such as: broken pipes at the booked accommodation, annulation of the contract with the owner, etc. In such cases, if Csátó Guesthouse knows about the problem beforehand, we will let the guest know about it before arrival and automatically make another booking to another accommodation of comparable standard; obviously, at the price of the original, confirmed accommodation. Should the technical problem happen on the day of arrival, the Guesthouse will act as mentioned above.
5. Number of guests, prices:
The accommodation can be used by the maximum number of people given. The price includes the costs of water, electricity and the use of bedcloth. It does not include, however, the resort tax, which has to be paid separately.
Please inform the bureau of the time of your arrival at least one hour before you get there on the given phone number The key will be handed over at the bureau on arrival, after presenting a copy of the confirmation. Arrival is possible between 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. in high season (June, July, August) and between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. in low season. Should you run into any unexpected difficulties (traffic jam, problems with the car, late departure) which makes your arrival in time impossible, please let us know by calling the telephone number given. 7. Other expenses, payment:
The price must be settled in cash on the day of arrival at our Guesthouse. Other expenses to be paid:
- Resort tax, which Csátó Guesthouse or the landlord pays to the local government. It costs HUF 360/person/night on the holiday resort and is to be paid by people between the ages of 18 and 70.
- Baby bed: can be hired after requesting in advance, and costs HUF 4000 for the whole period of stay.
The accommodation must be left until 10 a.m on the day of departure.
If a guest damages the appartment She/He is fully responsible for the caused damage! The guest must pay for the caused damage before departure. If the guest cannot pay, due to the amount of damage caused, She/He must pay by transfer within three bank workdays.
